    About

    Jacquie Josephson PsyD

As a psychotherapist, I am passionate about supporting my clients in finding balance and ease in all aspects of life.  I offer a client centered approach, which is somewhat non-directive in nature.  I am knowledgeable, compassionate, and honoring of my clients’ individual experiences.  My intention is to create a safe space to allow your process to takes its unique course while offering guidance and direction when appropriate.

I work with individuals aged 18 and older to help identify and address obstacles that prevent them from engaging in life fully.   The focus of my work with clients is to address the past and present problems, to understand and eliminate what is no longer useful, and focus on what is promising and possible.

I have a great deal of experience supporting people from a variety of backgrounds with a number of complex issues.  I completed my undergraduate work at University of Michigan and my Doctoral degree at Argosy University, San Francisco Bay Area.  I completed my EMDR training at Sonoma Psychotherapy Institute and my Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy training at Sage Institute.  I am a licensed by the California Board of Psychology as a clinical psychologist.
